Every animal that leaves YHBR has already been through the hardest part. They're vaccinated, spayed or neutered, living in a foster home, and ready. Here's what adoption from us actually looks like.
🚗 We welcome adopters from anywhere in the US. Travel to pick up your pet in Yuma, or use a pet transport service — we'll help coordinate.
Fully Vetted
All pets receive up-to-date vaccinations, flea prevention, and a full health exam before adoption. You start with peace of mind.
Spayed / Neutered
Every dog and cat is spayed or neutered before coming home with you — part of our commitment to reducing pet overpopulation across Yuma and the region.
Microchipped
All pets are microchipped and registered. Microchipping significantly increases the odds of a lost pet making it back home — because that bond matters forever.
We Don't Disappear at Adoption

Adoption Fees
Our adoption fees help offset veterinary costs for each rescue. Every pet is already spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before coming home with you.
